Pictures of My Ride
This is my 1998 Ford Contour SVT I picked up at a dealer. It is an original North Carolina car with 76,000 miles on it as of September 27th, 2004. It's in excellent condition, but due to it's age, I'm not mad that it's had a couple minor problems within the month I've had it so far.
First the Check Engine light came on, Lean Mixture on both banks. Indicates a vacuum leak, but I'm still trying to find it. Three of the ten fan blades broke off for some reason unknown to me, but I have a new set of blades for it, yet to be installed. The Temperature Gauge Sending unit broke and is leaking. Caused me to purchase unneeded parts (thermostat, gasket) due to me thinking it was something else. Easy fix.

Well, I think these are the best pictures yet. They show off my car with the headlight covers actually installed, with the car being clean. Just enjoy them!

These are a few others I took at the same time as one row above them. They show off the covers with a direct-on shot, the "Koni Improved" sticker on the sunroof motor, the SVT badge I purchased off Ebay and installed, plus my few-of-a-kind CEG plate cover I purchased as part of a group buy off the CEG Forums.

I finally got a chance to wash the car. They are the first decent pictures I have of the car. I used tire shine afterwards, so the wheels wouldn't look so dirty like they do here.

The second set of pictures show some aftermarket parts. They include the 3" chrome tips mounted on the Edelbrock mufflers. Also shows the Kumho Ecsta Surpra 712 215/40ZR17's mounted onto ATS 2000 DTM 17x7.5" rims.

I decided to park next to this one hill that overlooks the Missouri River at the Rainbow Dam basin. Apparantly without the dam that sits ontop Rainbow Falls, there would be a set of waterfalls right where I'm next to. They are the only set of totally submerged waterfalls on the Missouri/Mississippi river systems. I just thought the hill would be a nice background.

Here is a cliff and mountains I decided would look cool. The cliff is an overlook point above the Missouri river. There was another 98+ Conour there, but the lady in it didn't seem to enjoy the presence of my mean looking SVT near her plain-jane model. The mountains in the background looked like a most excellent place to use as a background.

This is an interior shot that I couldn't fit above, but was good enough to be on here, now I just need 3 more pictures to fill in the empty space.

I purchased some headlight covers off the CEG (www.contour.org) classified ads. Arrived, and I put them on the car as a test fit, looks awesome. All you see is the chrome grill coming at you. Also shows various shots with the headlights on.

These pictures are a couple more shots of the headlight covers, and a couple pictures of the headlights on without the covers in place.

The next set are the first pictures I took with my new digital camera, a Fuji A340 4 Megapixel camera. Shows the car dirty, the gauges, The 2.5L DOHC HO V6, and my current system. I would like to upgrade the system soon with something decent.

Here are some more dirty pics and interior shots. Not too much I can say about these.

The last set are when the original owner had it. I borrowed them off his profile at CEG. Differences in the pictures are the grill is not black like it shows in his pics, and you can see the supercharger tubing that was installed while it had a supercharger. Right now it's a normally asperated type, good for around 200 horsepower with the light mods it has (cold air intake, ported lower intake manifold).
